From the heart of our cinnamon gardens to yours.

Founder’s Message

Knuckles Valley was born in Perth, Australia in 2018—but its soul was shaped long before, in the cinnamon-drenched hills of my childhood in Sri Lanka. I was born into cinnamon. Its scent was our air, its harvest our rhythm, and its story our heritage. My parents devoted their lives to this sacred craft—not merely as a livelihood, but as a shared language passed through bark, soil, and memory.

We played among the trees, my siblings and I, unaware that those carefree moments would one day inspire a movement. Back then, I thought I knew cinnamon. I knew its texture, its shade, its fire. But it wasn’t until I stepped away and looked deeper that I understood its power—not just as a spice, but as a tradition worth preserving, sharing, and elevating.

Knuckles Valley began with a choice: to bring the finest garden-fresh Ceylon cinnamon to the world—ethically grown, lovingly prepared, and rich in the wisdom of our ancestors. True Ceylon cinnamon is often overshadowed by cassia. Many don’t realize the difference, but it matters deeply. The world deserves better. Our ancestors revered cinnamon not just for its flavour, but for its healing, spiritual value. It’s time we honoured that truth.

Knuckles Valley is more than a business—it’s a tribute to nature, family, and culture. Though our reach is global, our essence remains rooted in Sri Lankan soil. Our growth is shaped by the purity of our cinnamon, and by the communities who nurture it. Sustainability isn’t a slogan—it’s a living promise. We protect our land, uplift our people, and create harmony with every harvest.

I invite you to savour cinnamon not just as a taste—but as a story. A dream. A timeless connection to something real, rare, and beautiful.

A taste of nature’s finest.
